We all know someone who is always cold, no matter what they do. You know the type — the ones who pack a sweater on vacation, even to warm locales. Folks who shiver in air conditioning. People with ice cubes for hands.
If you are looking for gift ideas for people who are always cold, read on for my curated ideas suiting any budget. I own them all and can recommend them to fellow frosties. If you’re shopping for me and need ideas? See my final item on this list.
Disposable or rechargeable hand warmers are handy for everyone
Gift a box of disposable hand warmers that they can keep in their car for emergencies or if they spend time outdoors.
Or, give them a USB-rechargeable hand warmer that they can use for short or long durations, keep at their desk, or simply use whenever they need a quick burst of heat.

Space blankets make useful stocking stuffers
Tuck some space blankets into their stocking. These are great to have in your car emergency kit or if you find yourself suddenly completing a road race and need to warm up.
Heated blankets are underrated
I finally bought a heated throw blanket for myself, and I don’t know what I was thinking by waiting so long to get one! My Costco heated blanket is machine washable. It has four temperature levels, heats fast, and the material is soft. Get one or a dozen and share the love.
Wool socks keep toes toasty
Can anyone ever have enough good, warm socks? No. A perennial gift favorite, a pair of wool socks is a useful gift idea for anyone. Good quality wool isn’t itchy, but you can get a synthetic blend if they aren’t fans of the fiber.
High-quality slippers prevent frozen toes
I’ve had my L.L. Bean Wicked Good moccasins for several years, and they’re still going strong. The shearling lamb fur is moisture-wicking and isn’t stinky (yes, I have checked for you. You’re welcome). The rubber soles are key here, too, as they insulate your feet from cold floors.
Other options include these slippers from Minnetonka or Ugg.
Drink away the cold with hot drinks, a travel tumbler, and an electric kettle
If you’re looking for a consumable item to give to someone who has everything and doesn’t want clutter, perhaps you can restock their tea, coffee, or cocoa supply.
Consider giving them an electric kettle and insulated travel mug to make their hot drink preparations even better.
Bonus: Vacation somewhere warm
If your recipient has all they could possibly need to keep warm and you’re still looking for gift ideas, may I recommend whisking them away to somewhere warm? I think we all can agree that January and February are generally terrible.
Just say “no” to participating in the backside of winter and head to somewhere that doesn’t require snow boots and a parka.
